9th Annual Embassy Festival FOOD AND CULTURE

Embassy Festival Food and Culture Returns to Kulaťák

Saturday, June 6, 2026, from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM

On Saturday, June 6, 2026, Victory Square in Prague 6 will once again transform into the largest international celebration of gastronomy and culture in the Czech Republic. The ninth edition of the popular Embassy Festival Food & Culture will offer authentic national cuisine from an incredible 60+ countries around the world, along with a rich cultural program that this year expands across two stages. The event is organized by Farmářské trhy in cooperation with Prague 6 Municipal District.

The festival gates open to visitors at 8:00 AM, and admission is free for everyone. The official opening ceremony, traditionally attended by ambassadors themselves, organizers, and representatives of Prague 6, will take place at 11:00 AM on the main stage.

Without question, the biggest attraction of the festival is the food. This year, 60 countries will present the very best and most authentic dishes from their national cuisines. What makes this event truly unique is the fact that visitors often meet embassy staff members, and sometimes even ambassadors themselves, cooking directly at the grills and stoves.

To help visitors navigate such a large and diverse selection, organizers have prepared an interactive digital map this year. Simply scan the QR code on-site with your phone to access easy navigation to your favorite stands and an overview of the cultural program.

This year's edition promises an even more immersive cultural experience than ever before. The program will run simultaneously on two stages until 8:00 PM. Visitors can look forward to a continuous stream of traditional national music, exotic dance performances, and international folklore. The program is curated by the embassies themselves, and some performers are traveling to Prague specifically for this event.

The festival is designed for all generations. Entertainment for the youngest visitors will be provided in the children's zone by Park Lane International School. Partner cities of Prague 6, including Bayreuth, Poreč, and Roncegno Terme, will also present their own stands and specialties. And for those inspired by the food and culture to start traveling for real, festival partner Prague Airport has prepared exciting competitions.

If, alongside exotic flavors, you also enjoy traditional Czech products, there is no need to worry. Running alongside the international festival, the regular farmers' market will take place in Technická Street (from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM), just as it does every Saturday.

Visitors will be able to purchase fresh bread and pastries, meat and smoked products, eggs, seasonal vegetables, flowers, and many other high-quality products from local farmers, just as visitors to Kulaťák have been accustomed to for the past 16 years.
